{"id":629,"date":"2023-10-26T11:30:04","date_gmt":"2023-10-26T17:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/centralmixstation.com\/?p=629"},"modified":"2023-10-26T11:31:17","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T17:31:17","slug":"layering-guitars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/centralmixstation.com\/es\/layering-guitars\/","title":{"rendered":"LAYERING GUITARS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Layering guitars is a technique commonly used in the recording studios, in records guitars can give quality to \u201cthe tone\u201d or the sound of the complete record, it can sound powerful, open, wide, intimacy, ethereal, experimenting depending on the layers recorded on the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One example of this is to give OPPENES to the sound using different equipment to record each of the separate tracks on the same song, the result is a very wide open sound<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this, set up different layered sounds \u2013 like splitting a guitar into two cabs, miking each one separately, and then panning them opposite of each other (of course, this is very easy to do in the virtual world with amp sims).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Layering in this manner preserves the distinct nature of each sound, and lets them stand on their own \u2013 yet the two parts will multiply into something bigger.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Often, when mixing with other instruments \u2013 such as a piano \u2013 I\u2019ll pan one amp cab left and the other to center, with the left piano panned center and right piano panned right.
